Arusha to Tarangire
1 night
Tarangire is home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, impala and one of the few places where oryx can be observed. Over 450 species of birds have been recorded in this area. The park is famous for tree climbing pythons, its massive baobab trees and various acacia species as well large herds of elephants. Overnight at the Safari Lodge or semi luxury tented camp/glamping.
Tarangire to Serengeti
1 night
Today includes the drive to the Great Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game drives en route. Once you reach the Serengeti proceed with game drives in the park. Serengeti is a home to lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelle, crocodiles and more. The many birds includes the Eurasia migrants. Overnight at the Safari Lodge or semi luxury tented camp – en suite/glamping.
Serengeti
1 night
Today will be a full day of safari in the Serengeti National Park focusing on the migration and big cats. After breakfast follows the morning and afternoon game drives: tour to Seronera – the center of Serengeti. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera following the wildebeest migration pattern. In the afternoon you’ll continue in the Central Serengeti area where the main path of the Serengeti Wildebeest migration passes. Overnight in the Safari Lodge or tented camp.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
1 night
Following breakfast you will do more wildlife tours in the Serengeti and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. At Ngorongoro you have option to visit Maasai Boma (family compound) and meet local Maasai people and learn more about their culture. Overnight at Lodge or tented camp.
Ngorongoro Crater
1 night
Today is for a full day game viewing tour in the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast you’ll descend to the Crater floor for game drives to observe all the BIG FIVE; rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant live in this wonderful caldera. Other animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest and hyena. Some of the significant birds you should look out for are flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks and vultures. Enjoy your lunch in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a hippo pool. Proceed with game viewing while ascending the Crater. Overnight at the Safari Lodge or glamping.
Ngorongoro to Arusha
1 night
Today you’ll spend your morning in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, mainly at the Ndutu Region which borders the southern Serengeti. After lunch you will drive back to Arusha.
